Emily loved her mom's peanut butter jelly sandwich! She loved the way the smooth peanut butter spread across the white bread and the tart jelly made its presence known. But today, something unusual happened. Emily's mom made a peanut butter jelly sandwich with one piece of bread instead of two.

"Hey, I wanted to try this new sandwich," said Emily as she took a bite. She couldn't believe how good it was! 

The peanut butter was creamy and rich, and the jam was delicious on top. Her mom must have put a lot of jam in there because almost half the sandwich was gone within minutes.

"Do you want some more?" asked Emily's mother, as Emily munched down her sandwich.

"I'm starving!" exclaimed Emily as she continued eating her sandwich, like it was her last meal on earth.

"How about I teach you how to make this sandwich and then you can make one for me?" said Emily's mother, as Emily finished her sandwich. "Yes, please!", replied Emily.

Emily’s mom showed her how to make the perfect PB&J, and then let her take the reins. 

Emily used a spoon to divide the peanut butter between two pieces of bread, and then spread jelly over each slice. She put the sandwiches back together like a puzzle, and proudly served them to her mom. Her mother enjoyed every delicious bite!
