It was the first day of kindergarten, and Mark was so excited. He had been waiting for this moment since he was old enough to understand what Kindergarten meant. He couldn't wait to meet all of his new classmates and learn about what they were going to be doing in class.

"I wonder how many friends I'll make?", Mark thought to himself.

As Mark entered the school building, his excitement grew. He saw all of the kids playing together and getting along great. In fact, it seemed as though everyone was having a blast! 

Mark was happy to be part of it. When he walked into the classroom, he could hardly contain himself. There were so many children his age, all talking and giggling together. It was a lot of noise for one little boy to deal with, but Mark bravely approached one of his new friends and started chatting with the girl. 

"Hi! I'm Mark," he said excitedly. "It's so nice to meet you!"

In class, things started out just like he expected them to. The teacher was busy talking and writing on the board and the other students were crowding around Mark, asking him questions about everything from cars to dinosaurs. It felt weird not being able to talk back but it wasn't too bad - after all, this is where he belonged!

Although he was nervous at first, Mark eventually became friends with most of his classmates and enjoyed making new friends during kindergarten enrichment activities.
