[Short Stories] Raya Visits the Dentists Office for the First Time

Raya was nervous as she prepared to go to the dentists office with her mom. She had never been there before, and she was scared that something bad might happen. Her mom tried to reassure her, but Raya's heart was racing the whole way there.

When they arrived at the office, Raya let out a little gasp of relief. The dentist's receptionist smiled at them and directed them towards a set of chairs in the waiting area. Raya sat down next to her mom, trying not to fidget too much.

A few minutes later, their doctor emerged from the back room and approached them. He introduced himself and asked if they had any questions about his services. They both shook his hand warmly and said no, they were just here for Raya's teeth cleaning.

The doctor led them into the back room where he started working on Raya's teeth with a scalpel. It wasn't as scary as she thought it would be - after all, she'd seen this procedure done on her older brother many times - but her stomach still flip-flopped a little throughout the procedure.

As soon as everything was done, the doctor led them back into his office where he gave each of them a toothbrush and plaque remover kit for home use. He told them that Raya had been a great patient and to continue taking care of teeth.
